Dr. Eric D. Kyrk
Hometown: Oklahoma City, OK
Dr. Kyrk grew up in Oklahoma City. He attended OCCC, the University of Central Oklahoma, and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Kyrk received many scholarships and awards including the UCO Transfer Scholarship, OU Kellage Scholarship, and the William E. Wood Memorial Award, and graduated with distinction in his class. He is very involved in continuing education courses, completing several more hours than required each year. Recently, Dr. Kyrk attended courses in dental implant placement in New Jersey. He has invested in the latest technology available and is constantly expanding his abilities as a dentist.
Dr. Kyrk is very passionate about health and fitness. You can catch him running in the local park daily. He enjoys mountain biking, fishing, hunting, gardening, hanging with friends at the lake, and is quite a culinary enthusiast. Currently, Dr. Kyrk and his wife, Denise, reside in Harrah and are active members of the community.

What do you enjoy most about working at Harrah Family Dentistry? I try to make even the most nervous or anxious patient laugh and feel more comfortable. It's a daily challenge!!
How many years of experience in the dental field? 10 years total, I've spent the last 7 working here with Dr. Kyrk
What is your favorite dental joke you've heard Doc tell? What did the 80-year-old pirate say? Aye-Matey (say out loud)
What are some of your hobbies? I really enjoy being outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include; gardening, landscaping, going to the lake, and fishing. I also love to read, cook, and clean up after my children... that last one was a joke.
Do you have a favorite movie? Gone with the Wind, every Harry Potter movie, and every Hobbit movie. Oh, and every Quentin Tarantino movie.

Denise Kyrk
Hometown: Bethany, OK
Education: Certified Dentrix Trainer, Certificates including; Radiation Safety, Sealants Placement, Coronal Polishing, and Assisting in Administering Nitrous Oxide.
Position: Office Manager
What do you enjoy most about working at Harrah Family Dentistry? I enjoy working with my co-workers, even though they make me crazy! Insurance plans constantly change and I strive to keep up with the new guidelines and limitations so I can help our patients best understand their options and which plan would benefit their family the most.
How many years of experience in the dental field? 17 years as an assistant, 32 years total.
What are some of your hobbies? Huge OU football fan and I love to watch every game! Love to travel with my hubby. I enjoy keeping up with my flower gardens, reading, making stained glass art, mountain biking, and hanging out with friends at the lake. I work out every day because it is important to me to be healthy and physically fit but it is NOT my favorite.

Hayley Polk
Hometown: Choctaw, OK
Position: Treatment Coordinator, Dental Assistant
What do you enjoy most about working at Harrah Family Dentistry? Helping patients overcome their fear of the dental office.
How many years of experience in the dental field? 5 years total. I'm fairly new here with Dr. Kyrk, compared to the rest of his staff. Everyone has made me feel very welcome, including the patients. I am excited to continue my dental career here.
What are some of your hobbies? Spending time with family, friends, and my dogs... since I do not have human children.
Do you have a favorite movie? Tommy Boy. Especially the part: "You know, a lot of people go to school for 7 years." "Yeah, they're called doctors!"
Do you have a favorite food? Pizza and Mexican food are my faves.
Mary 'MaryBell' Skaggs

Position: Dental Assistant
What do you enjoy most about working at Harrah Family Dentistry? Our patients are really great. It's nice to be able to recognize all of their faces and I've worked here long enough that most of them know me as well. Feels like home.
How many years of experience in the dental field? 20 years total. I've worked here for Dr. Kyrk since he opened in 2007.
Do you have a funny dental story? A little boy once told me a mouse stole his toothbrush!!
What are some of your hobbies? I spend a lot of time with friends and family in my local community of Carney. I also enjoy being at the lake and reading. I'm a huge Oklahoma State Cowboys fan and really love college basketball. Go Pokes!!
